Training in Action

Hands-on means hands-on

No stock photos here — this is what our sessions actually look like. Every participant works the manikin, wraps the bandage and runs the scenario, indoors and out in the field.

Inside the BOFA-C Program

What the two days look like

A typical run-of-show. We tune the scenarios to your industry — a plantation crew, a factory floor and a hotel front desk don’t face the same emergencies.

Day 1

Respond & Resuscitate

The first minutes that decide survival

  1. 01 Emergency response & the DRSABC primary survey Scene safety, assessing responsiveness, calling for help the right way
  2. 02 Adult CPR — high-quality compressions & rescue breaths Rate, depth and recoil, coached on manikins until it's muscle memory
  3. 03 AED operation & team resuscitation Pad placement, shock delivery and switching rescuers without losing time
  4. 04 Choking & airway emergencies Conscious and unconscious casualty management
  5. 05 Timed skills stations Rotating drills that put Day 1 together under pressure
Day 2

Treat & Transport

Injuries your workplace actually sees

  1. 01 Wounds, bleeding control & shock Dressings, pressure bandaging and recognising deterioration
  2. 02 Burns, scalds & eye injuries First response for electrical, chemical and heat injuries
  3. 03 Fractures, splinting & immobilisation Improvised and kit-based splinting, practised on real terrain
  4. 04 Casualty handling & transport Recovery position, lifts and stretcher work
  5. 05 Full scenario assessment & certification A staged incident, start to finish — then the Certificate of Competency

Runs on-site at your premises or at our training venue — we bring the manikins, AED trainers and consumables.

Why Teams Choose Us

Not another slide-deck course

Plenty of providers can hand your team a certificate. Very few make sure your team can actually respond when a colleague stops breathing. Here’s the difference, side by side.

A typical first aid course

  • Hours of slides, one quick demo at the end
  • One-way lecture, delivered in a single language
  • A generic syllabus with no link to your worksite risks
  • A paper certificate no auditor can verify
  • The relationship ends when the course ends

The Panda way

  • Scenario-based drills on manikins and moulage casualties — every trainee compresses, bandages and responds until it sticks
  • Two-way, bilingual delivery (English & Bahasa Malaysia) that keeps every participant involved for the whole session
  • Mapped to the DOSH/JKKP First Aid at the Workplace guideline and current AHA CPR & ECC Guidelines
  • A Certificate of Competency valid for 3 years — verifiable online by any employer or auditor, any time
  • One-stop support after training: DOSH/OSHA-compliant kits, AED supply and consumable refills, all from the same provider

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you book

Is the course really claimable under HRDCorp?

Yes. Panda Consultancy PLT is an officially registered HRD Corp training provider, so employers can claim approved training expenses through the HRD Corp levy. We help you with the paperwork so the claim goes through smoothly.

Does my workplace need certified first aiders by law?

The DOSH/JKKP Guideline on First Aid in the Workplace expects employers to maintain an adequate number of trained first aiders based on workforce size and risk. Our BOFA-C program is designed specifically to meet that requirement — and the Certificate of Competency is your evidence at audit time.

Can you run the training at our site?

Yes — most of our corporate sessions run on-site, anywhere in Sarawak (Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri and beyond) and across the Borneo region. We bring everything: CPR manikins, AED trainers, bandages and consumables. All you provide is a room (or a worksite, for scenario training).

What language is the course delivered in?

Both English and Bahasa Malaysia, in the same session. Delivery is two-way — participants practise, ask and respond throughout rather than sitting through a lecture.

How long is the certificate valid, and can we verify it?

The Certificate of Competency is valid for 3 years. Every certificate carries a unique code that employers and auditors can verify on our online portal, any time.

How many people can join one session?

We keep batches small enough that everyone gets repeated manikin and bandaging time. For larger workforces we split participants into rotating skill stations or run multiple sessions back-to-back.
